Cryptocurrency
Early use case exploration
Bridging the gap between highly technical blockchain experts building tools for this space and crypto-currious investors wanting to dip their toes in the market is no easy task. The two projects below are examples of what our team did early in the crypto hype-cycle.
Sherlock Crypto Analytics
I partnered with a team who had an idea for a new way to do research related to investing in cryptocurrency. This project entailed
- Initial user research to validate assumptions related to user needs
- UI prototype designs, iterated based on feedback, to be used in pitch for initial funding
This tool is in production and has a full-time designer but many early ideas around information architecture persist in the current UI

Digital Asset Tracker (DAT)
I partnered with a team who had an idea for a app that would let you create a consolidated view of crypto wallets across multiple platforms. Their designer was on leave and I was tasked with overseeing the build out of existing designs. This project included
- Usability testing and incorporating feedback into designs
- Overseeing IOS build as part of an Agile team
